What a lovely and magical spot you created, Vi! Not to mention the gorgeous hills surrounding your haven. Seems so peaceful and heart-renewing.
I like the idea of a garden that is more for the wildlife than the humanlife! In my small growing area, I don't have space for food plants, but I do have a blackberry bush my granddaughter begged me to plant. It's not very large and only produces a couple handfuls of berries each year. I snack on a few but most are consumed by the birds and squirrels. I am happy seeing the wildlife dine on the berries and don't mind the sacrifice at all.
I look forward to more photo pieces about your garden and, I hope, Austria. And, you can throw in some food ones, too ♥
