What a stunning place, Anne!

I was always a sunset person since I rarely woke up in time to see the sunrise. But, 5 years ago, Ben and I spent Thanksgiving at a hotel on the Atlantic Ocean. I made the effort to get us both awake in time to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise over the ocean. It was breathtaking. I could only see one other person on his balcony doing the same.

As much as I love the heavy tree canopy in our city, it prevents us from seeing much of the sun rising or setting. Plus, we are in the middle of the state. But, every now and then, we get a sunrise or a sunset that is big enough and bold enough to be seen.
