We are "open" here and have been for a year. But, the Delta variant is rampant in Florida and our area is seeing hospitalizations higher in number than last August. We are vaccinated but still don't want to risk it since so few are wearing masks now. Yes, being vaccinated protects you from getting terribly ill, but we haven't gone this long to give in now. Just as we were ready to venture out, we started hunkering down instead.
