What a wonderful story, Lauri, and your mom's quilts are/were gorgeous! I know about quilts. No, I don't make them, but my stepmother did. When she passed, her house was filled with quilts, pillows, and baby clothes that she made to sell at craft fairs in Tennessee. It broke my heart that I couldn't keep everything, but I chose my favorites and gave a few to friends. One of her friends donated the others to her church for their annual festival. I'm sure they raised a lot of money from the donations. This is an excellent response to the Cozy prompt.
