Where I live we rarely see a pigeon, but I always enjoy them when visiting NYC. I like their sociability and they are quite beautiful.

We haven't been to NYC in a few years due to illness and the pandemic, but there used to be a man that sat on a bench in Washington Square Park and fed the pigeons. They were on his shoulders, arms, legs, and head! They ate from his hand. I loved watching him with his pigeons.
