Wow, I am very impressed. When I attended high school in Maine and was studying French, I often checked out French albums from the library. That is how I discovered Piaf. Alas, she is the only survivor of my French music days. Now, with a Hispanic family, I listened to Spanish songs quite often. But, I will definitely search for the French singers you mentioned!
