Our housekeeper also works at a restaurant. Our county has a mask mandate for public places. She's been cursed, threatened, pushed, and screamed at for turning away someone without a mask. Someone who thinks our county is run by Nazis (obviously, they know nothing about Nazis), someone who denies what science says is true, Someone who, no matter what their personal opinions, can't just be polite in exchange for a good meal. She said that she doesn't get paid enough for such abuse. Who does?

We are in sick times - and, I'm not just talking about the Covid. Humanity is sick and there is no vaccine for what ails us.
