You are not a bother, Wade! I can see the note and my several answers — don’t know why you can‘t. Anyway, I think I resolved the problem. Here are my responses below:

I searched the title and found the post but didn’t see it when scrolling through recent additions. I changed the tags on your piece to include Photography and Animals. My fault on this, all posts must have the tag of Photography and I published it without adding that tag. Since we have a section called animals, adding the animal tag posted it there.

The front page is set up with challenge responses first, then most recent 3 posts, then the posts for particular tags/categories. Yours was under recent until 3 new posts were published, then it dropped off.

Problem appears to have been the tags. Always use Photography as one then try to choose a tag to match the categories on the SnapShot page (Nature, Travel, B&W, Animals). Challenges have specific special tags.

Again, sorry, I didn’t catch that your piece didn’t have Photography and Animals as tags. After all, that is an Editor’s job!! But, using proper tags should solve the problem in the future.
