You made me cry, Somsubhra! I know these scenarios are true many places, but here, at least for a while, I saw people slow down, stay home, connect with nature. I think the wildlife and maybe some stray lives benefited. Now, at least here, we are back to busy, in spite of Florida being the new virus epicenter. Humans are back to being self-centered and cold-hearted.

But, I did love your poem and the subject. Because we do need to think about what effect that the pandemic and our actions during the pandemic have on all living things.
