One of my clients has annual audits from the title insurance company for which they write title policies. For more than a decade, the audits have been by email and covered 3 months. Yesterday, they notified us that this year's audit will be in person - DURING A PANDEMIC - and will cover 12 months, rather than 3. I only work there evenings and weekends when others aren't around because several employees refuse to get vaccinated and no one wears a mask. I informed my client and the title insurance company that I will NOT be present and that it is morally wrong from them to be conducting the first in-person audit in more than a decade during a pandemic. Morons. I think it's time for me to retire. I am so tired of the stupidity that surrounds me.
